I haven't been having a lot of fun with fitness recently. This keeps it easy and lets me jump into a different headspace while I work out. That was usually the hardest part but the 'character' idea has really motivated me.

Ho friendly folk!

My name is Adam Chevalier, my quest for better fitness and nutrition began in 2010 when I felt myself feeling less than “heroic”. Having not been the sports type growing up, I had to start at the beginning slowly working my way towards a body (and mind) I felt capable in.

I achieved, and continue to achieve this goal by giving myself a story of “why”. Having an Avatar of who I want to be, a character I can “play” is the motivation I use to champion through arduous workouts.

In my regular day to day, I am a Nutrition and Strength Coach at a local gym here in Omaha, Nebraska. As well as an Army Officer in the Nebraska National Guard.

I look forward to being an Ally in your campaign to achieving HEROIC levels of fitness!

Hey there all you adventurers! 

I have been training upcoming heroes in the barracks of iron for over 8 years. My path in fitness all started in high school with powerlifting for football. 

Over time my wants and needs have changed through many methodologies, such as distance running, strong man, and finally settling into more of the functional fitness space, adopting aspects from all of my previous fitness interests.

    I have been inspired all my life by the games I play; overcoming obstacles and building resiliency from failure.  My goal has always been to grow faster and stronger like the virtual characters I delve into. To be the one your group rallies around all Cloud Strife-like and to keep progressing through adversity.

     I think this journey all starts with mastering yourself, both physically and mentally; strengthen the body to strengthen the mind. It has been my life’s passion to help others down this path. I live for this because I believe that we can all be heroes.

F.A.Q.

Short answer: Yes. No question. Follow the prescribed workouts and you will reach new levels of fitness in no time. Coach Anthony & Coach Adam have a combined 2 DECADES of training individuals like you; not to mention the training time they have put into their own fitness. But that isn’t the whole story: it isn’t that difficult to find a good fitness plan (there are many bad ones however). The hard part is adherence to that plan. We solve that with unrestrained nerdy fun and a community of people just like you.

It is you Noob. And we make no apologies for it. The FITAF culture is unapologetically nerdy. That is what makes it FUN. We aren’t tight ass mirror gazing physique chasers (though our glutes are exceptionally firm). We are just gamers who love fitness & health enough to have made careers out of it. Dashing handsomeness and fine physiques just happen to be a happy consequence : ).

 We are mostly on PS4.

If you have ever played a table top role play game such as Pathfinder or DND (5e is best…fight me) we have taken the fun storyline adventure & character role-play aspects of that and combined it with effective workout routines. These campaigns have all the structural components needed for an effective fitness plan: testing your fitness levels, giving you progressive overload (how your muscles actually adapt and get stronger), and giving you variety so it stays fun and stimulating! Add all that to the fun of competing and getting fit with our Party Group features in the Arena and you have a perfect fitness campaign!

Yes, coin is required to receive weekly custom fitness quests and campaign access. It is 1 monthly charge of $49. If you buy an annual Battle Pass you get 2 months free. We also have nutrition plans if you really want to up your game.

Nutrition, done right, is highly individualized. Everyone has different requirements. We have some basic guidelines but if you have specific questions about our personalized nutrition through the True Coach app ask us in the campaigns Arena page!
